As Clinical Director of Algarve Wellness, Miguel is the single point of clinical accountability for every resident. He conducts the in-depth psychological assessment himself — he is one of Portugal’s recognised specialists in the Rorschach method (Exner Comprehensive System) — designs the individualised programme, and personally directs the multidisciplinary team that delivers it: psychotherapy, trauma reprocessing, family work, psychiatric oversight. Nothing generic. Nothing off a shelf. One coherent plan, held by one pair of hands.
His credentials run deep: Registered EuroPsy Specialist in Psychotherapy, OPP-recognised Specialist in Clinical & Health Psychology (Reg. 6214), clinical supervisor, author and speaker. He founded and leads Learn2Be, an integrative psychology and coaching group of five clinics and more than twenty professionals. And because he has spent years coaching CEOs, founders and high performers internationally, he understands the particular weight our residents often carry — the pressure, the visibility, the exhaustion of holding it all together. He works in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with a growing focus on longevity and integrative health.
